Busy tour schedule for Young Band Nation

April has been busy for our Young Band Nation. Three gigs at different locations have been a fantastic success. Here are some highlights!

Biscuits and Gravy and Origin Story rocked the stage on Saturday, April 1 at the Seize the Day 5k Run for Epilepsy.

“Our students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we supported a great cause to raise awareness about Epilepsy in Louisiana,” said Doug Gay, owner and founder of Baton Rouge Music Studios.

The next day, Sunday, April 2, all of our bands got some time on stage at the Zippity Zoo Fest.

“It was incredible! The BREC employees were thrilled to see all of our young bands perform for the zoo's 53rd birthday. They are already talking about having us perform again next year!”

The following weekend started off on Friday, April 7 at our regular haunt, Tin Roof Brewery for family night.

Now, our bands have earned a much needed break… but not for long! We’ll be back in May for another family night at Tin Roof, and Hot Art Cool Nights on Friday, May 18.

And the fun doesn’t stop when the final bell rings for summer. Don’t forget to register for summer sessions. Spots are limited, so don’t wait, register today!
